This year will see our very first ‘Wear it Red Day' to celebrate the life of our founder, Eugene McCarney.  

In 2020, he would have turned 50 and should have been celebrating in style. However, with the country in a pandemic crisis and the sudden news of his passing, the timing didn’t feel right.  

With the recent changes in lockdown measures and the country starting to breath a little easier, it’s time to celebrate his life, his many achievements and to wear his Welsh Red with pride.

“Our exclusive range of Tech Tee’s have been designed by Lucy at Hawk using his signature” said Pru McCarney, CEO of The McCarney Foundation.

“We wanted to use a company that has a passion for cricket and sportswear to help us develop this range, and the designers at Hawk Cricket in Drayon, Stourbridge, have worked so hard to help us.  It will be a wonderful sight to see so many people wearing these shirts and to see a wave of red up and down the country in support of him and The McCarney Foundation.”
